Authorities are currently investigating a hit-and-run accident that took the life of a woman early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. near Foxbrick Lane, located west of Lee Road. A Precinct 4 Deputy Constable discovered the body of a woman lying in the roadway. Investigators say that she had died as a result of being hit by a driver who left the scene of the accident.
