Bus Crash Injures Schoolchildren
At around 8 a.m, a school bus and a Chevy Suburban collided at the corner of Fair and Lawn Street, sending students from the Houston Independent School District tumbling off their seats and injuring five of them. Those five students were transported to a local hospital, along with the woman driving the Suburban and her two children, who were with her in the SUV. Police are still investigating as it is unknown whether one of the vehicles drove through a stop sign and hit the other, and are currently reviewing the school bus surveillance video. The students who were not injured were picked up and continued to school. Following accidents, the victims and their families are often left reeling and uncertain how to proceed.
