Bystander Saves Three from Fiery Crash
Three people in Houston are lucky to be alive when a bystander pulled them from a fiery wreck. The Houston Chronicle reported on the matter.
Police say that three men were speeding near the Greater Fifth Ward last Thursday on Liberty Road. The driver lost control, crashed into a culvert, and flipped. The car began to catch fire and the bystander pulled them from the wreckage.
The driver had serious injuries. Another had minor ones and the third was unharmed. Police don’t know what caused the accident, but they are examining whether alcohol might have been a factor along with speeding.
Nothing is known from the story about the bystander, but we want to commend them for their quick thinking and bravery. If they hadn’t been able to extract the victims, at least one of them probably would have died.
