Car Bursts into Flames on Impact

A man had to be pried out of his vehicle by firefighters following a fiery crash on the south side of Houston early Thursday. According to a statement by police officers, the driver lost control of his car at the intersection of West Airport at South Sam Houston Parkway. His vehicle impacted with a light pole and then burst into flame. The driver was transported to the hospital and is listed in serious condition.
