DUI suspect tries to put up a fight
A man faces DUI and other charges after he passed out in the drive-through lane of a northwest Harris County fast food restaurant. At approximately 3:40 a.m. Harris County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Jack in the Box located on Jones Road at West Road. When deputies approached the suspect, they said that the driver woke up and tried to speed away. Law enforcement officers were able to get the man out of the truck, but not before putting up a fight. The driver was eventually taken into custody. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that the man is currently facing charges of DUI, resisting arrest, and assault of a peace officer. Luckily, no one was hurt in this particular DUI incident.
