Five Car Accident Sends Four to Hospital

An early morning accident Thursday has sent four people to the hospital. Around 6:30 am, a Subaru was traveling west bound on Westheimer Parkway when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Subaru crossed the median and slammed into four other cars. The impact drove those vehicles that were hit into the rain filled ditch on the side of the road. The driver of a Jaguar that was hit suffered a broken leg and several broken ribs after being trapped in his badly damaged car. Rescue crews were forced to employ the Jaws of Life to extract the injured driver.
