Multi-car Crash On Gulf Freeway

In the case of multiple-car crashes, there could potentially be several responsible parties who could be held accountable for any damages, injuries or worse. That may have been what happened after a multi-car crash on the Gulf Freeway that involved four vehicles early Thursday morning.

In an article that appeared on the Chron.com website, authorities with the Houston TranStar report that the crash occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m. causing a shut down to four lanes and left traffic and resulting in a major snarl for that morning’s daily commute.

No further information as to the names of those involved or any injuries resulting from the crash has been released at this time.

Safety experts agree that keeping a one car length distance between vehicles can help prevent serious car accidents.  Many accidents are the result of tailgating and being unable to stop a vehicle in front of them suddenly stops or changes lanes without warning.

Of course, no one can truly know when an accident will happen or what the circumstances surrounding it will be. Even if a driver should take every precaution in order to keep safe, they may still be involved in an accident and often through no fault of their own. That’s the time to seek a lawyer.

If you are involved in a multi-car accident, try to take pictures of the scene and get as much information as you can from the participants. These details are crucial should you have to file a lawsuit against your insurance company if they pay you too little for the incident.
