Woman Hit by her Own Car
A 21-year-old woman was killed in a crash early Wednesday morning after her car struck a tree. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on Park Row Drive near E. Summitry Circle around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Sheriff’s deputies reported that the vehicle jumped the curb at a curve in the road. The impact caused her to go into the median and slam into a tree. The force of the impact split the tree in half and crushed the car’s front end. Investigators report that the driver was ejected from her vehicle and struck by her own car as it kept moving. Sometimes it is unclear what may have caused an accident. A good attorney will know what is needed in order to help get to the bottom of a case, because they understand the law and can help to unravel the root cause of motor vehicle accidents. Often the services of trained experts are required. Some of the reasons for a crash may include:
- Driver Negligence
- Product Liability
- Poorly Maintained Roads
