Child Killed by Falling Tree Branch in Freak Accident

A falling tree branch is responsible for the death of a toddler and the critical injury of her mother in a freak accident that occurred outside the Lone Star Behavioral Health Clinic on Quinn Road. Lyndi Lolmaugh and other volunteers were putting up Christmas decorations inside the clinic and the two were admiring the beautiful lights when a large branch from an oak tree on the property broke off and fell on them. An eyewitness to the entire incident tried assist the mother and child. Emergency crews and were called to the scene and police, fire and EMS all worked to free them. Life Flight flew the toddler, Tesa Grace to Memorial Hermann Hospital but she did not survive. The child’s mother, Lolmaugh was listed in critical condition. Lolmaugh had no medical insurance at the time of the incident. A fund has been set up to help with funeral and medical expenses. There are few things in the world than to lose a child.
