DUI Suspected in Fatal Rear-End Collision

Early in the morning, the world was quiet. A man was cruising on Aldine Bender Road in his Ford Mustang around 2:30 in the morning. Normally, there are very few people on the road, but the traffic laws must still be followed. The driver of the Mustang stopped at a red light on Northgreen.

According to Chron.com, the driver of a Ford F-150 didn’t expect there to be someone stopped at the light. After all, there are normally very few people on the road at that hour. He rear-ended the Mustang, causing the driver and his passenger to spin out of control.

As a result of the collision, the Mustang caught on fire. The driver of the vehicle made it out, but his passenger didn’t. The passenger died at the scene. Neither the driver of the Mustang nor the DUI suspect was injured in the crash. They were both left unscathed.

The DUI suspect was arrested.
