Easter Crash Ends in Fatality
Easter Sunday is an excellent time for celebrations, but one must always remain vigilant when on the roads. An Easter celebration turned sour this year, leaving one woman killed and at least a couple vehicles in pieces.
According to KHOU, it was mid-afternoon on Tiffin Street near Broyles when the crash happened. A black car and a red pickup truck were speeding down the road, careening off of utility poles until finally crashing into a house. They were apparently traveling at nearly double the speed limit when the accident happened.
The police who were investigating also noted that the drivers of the two vehicles were most likely friends with one another and racing one another to get to the next Easter celebration. It was not noted in the official report whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
