Firearm Incident Injures Many

Daniel LoboHouston authorities have filed charges in connection with a deadly house party shooting last year in Houston that ended in 2 deaths and 20 others with related injuries.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office announced last week that charges have been filed against Randy Stewart, 18, of tampering with evidence. Stewart has already been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Also charged with evidence tampering is Randy’s 20year-old brother, Marvin Stewart.

The brothers have been accused of concealing the gun that was apparently used in the shootings on November 9th of 2013 at a birthday party that hosted more than 100 people including those with gang affiliations. In spite of an extensive search by law enforcement authorities, no weapon in connection with the shooting ever turned up.

The Harris County Sheriff’s office stated that the incident remains under investigation and there may be others who are charged in the case.
