Forklift Accident Kills Two

A forklift accident on Wednesday night has left two workers dead at a southwest Dallas plastics company. Affording to a report filed by Dallas Fire-Rescue Public Information Officer, Jason Evans, the two men were crushed by an unmanned forklift around 7 p.m. at Georg Fischer Central Plastics located in the Mountain Creek area at the 4900 block of Joseph Hardin Drive, while they were attempting to load at the back of a truck. It is not clear what caused the forklift to roll into the men. The Federal Occupational Health And Saftety Administration is investigating the case. The men were identified by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office as Robert Berg, 51, of Duncanville and Jimmie O’Farrell, 59, of Humble, Texas.
