Houston Motorcyclist Dies in Accident with Big Rig
A motorcyclist has died in an accident involving a big rig and one other vehicle on the Southwest Freeway late Tuesday morning. A motorcyclist was reported to be weaving between cars when the rider clipped the rear end of the rig and spun into the other vehicle. Houston TranStar has reported the incident that happened at the exit for Newcastle around 9:30 a.m. All northbound traffic on the freeway’s main lanes was forced to exit from the Freeway and was detoured. Motorcyclists need to know how to ride safely on the highways. Driving a motorcycle is very different from riding a car, and training courses are recommended for all new riders. However, even an experienced rider can feel reckless, taking chances for the thrill of the ride. Unfortunately, those sorts of thrills can kill.
