Houston Police Department officers reported that the crash occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. at the intersection of Elgin and Hamilton Streets. According to eyewitness accounts given to officers, the motorcyclist was apparently traveling eastbound on Elgin when he ran the light, hitting a Toyota Camry heading southbound.
