Tractor Trailer Fire Kills One
An early morning tractor trailer accident has left the driver dead. The 18-wheeler appeared to be traveling along the 610 South Loop Freeway at an unsafe rate of speed when it wrecked and burst into flames. According to reports, by the time that Houston Fire Department firefighters arrived at the scene the vehicle was completely engulfed in flame. Authorities were forced to close all major lanes as well as several other arteries on the Freeway as crews brought the blaze under control. The identity of the driver has not yet been released. No other injuries related to the crash were reported.
