Woman Dies in Wrong-Way Crash in Fort Bend County
An unidentified woman has died in a wrong-way collision in Fort Bend County that resulted in a hazmat spill on Highway 59. According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 3:00 a.m., a woman, whose name has not yet been released, was driving Mitsubishi Eclipse northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 59 and was killed after she drove into a dump truck. The dump truck flipped over as a result of the crash and spilled its contents across the highway creating a hazmat incident.
