Failure to Stop Puts Two in Hospital

 Late Sunday night a car accident put two people in the hospital with injuries, and currently their condition is still unknown. A driver who had been traveling north on Hempstead Highway failed to stop at a red light and ended up striking a minivan, t-boning the van. The impact flipped the van which landed in a ditch, trapping the driver inside the vehicle. Houston firefighters were forced to cut the roof from the van in order to remove the injured driver. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Both are expected to survive.
