School Bus Wrecks, No Students Injured

Around lunch time Friday an Alief ISD school bus wrecked at the intersection of Empanada Drive and Howell Sugar Land Drive. According to reports from the school district, no students were injured in the incident that occurred right around noon. The two students who were on the bus at the time were returning from vocational classes. While details have not been revealed regarding the exact nature of the accident, images captured by a local news station show the bus on its side and another vehicle with its front end crushed. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.
