Seatbelts Once Again Save Lives

We definitely advocate the use of seat belts in all vehicles. There’s nothing more tragic than to read about accidents where the only person who lived in the wreck was the person who was wearing the seatbelt.

It was 4am, the time of morning when only cops, truckers, and third shifters are awake. People believe that they rule the roads because there are not that many vehicles upon them. In this case, the gambit did not work out.

An off-duty officer watched a Ford F-150 speed on the highway. The vehicle lost control and rammed into a light pole. After the light pole, the truck rolled and came to a stop. The off-duty officer called 911 and offered help to everyone.

The passenger who the cop helped was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The others who were in the truck (and who weren’t wearing seatbelts) died at the scene. Unfortunately, there was nothing that anyone could do.
