Former Houston Police Officer Laid to Rest
Former Houston Police Officer, Dana Tweedie, was laid to rest Friday at St. Luke’s Methodist Church. Friends and family gathered to honor him one final time after his sudden death last Saturday. Dana Tweedie and his wife, Linda, were out for a ride on his motorcycle when the vehicle that Callie Inman was driving pulled out directly in front of them. Dana Tweedie was killed and his wife suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident. Callie Inman, who is 18 years old, has been charged with intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle. She has posted a $150,000 bond earlier this week and is currently out on bail. Tragedy always strikes suddenly and no one is ever prepared when the worst happens.
