A motorcycle chase involving police has ended in a crash early Friday morning in North Houston. The pursuit began when Houston Police tried to pull over a red motorcycle on Link Road near the North Loop around 8:50 a.m. The motorcyclist, riding a red motorcycle, refused to stop, resulting in a chase that went for several miles. The motorcyclist was able to get onto the North Freeway, travelling northbound to W. Mount Houston. In a statement made by the Houston Police Department, officers pursued the motorcyclist to Airline Drive where he managed to spill the motorcycle at the intersection. The suspect was immediately arrested and taken into custody by police. The motorcyclist was also checked out at the scene of the crash by paramedics before being charged and taken to jail.
